Rotary International Specific
The work of Rotary begins in the community, and every community experiences its own unique needs and circumstances. While Rotarians serve the world in countless ways, we focus our efforts in seven key areas to maximize our impact. These areas encompass some of the world’s most critical and widespread humanitarian needs, and we have a proven record of success in addressing them. The achievements don’t happen by accident. It’s the dedicated Rotarians who take time to understand the needs and are diligent enough to apply the many Rotary resources to not just make “A” difference, but to make “THE” difference in the lives of people around the world.
This program looks at the extreme situations people are living with through the lens of Rotary’s seven Areas of Focus. The presentation then highlights Rotary’s resources that are available to help affect positive change. The role of the District International Service Chair is introduced as a catalyst to launch a simple yet dynamic process of connecting the need’s champions and project leaders with Rotary resources.
